Wish they had a "Artistic Concept" category (vs. just Artistic Nude, etc.).

Sebastian and I have been wanting to do this Tarzan shoot foreeeever. Finally had a Monday where all 3 of us (Seby, me, and Maryam--makeupartist) were free and got to shoot right before sunset. Spent about 15min. in the thrift store picked up 3 shirts (linen material, ended up only using 2 shirts) and the necklace (was like $2 I think?). Maryam ripped one of the shirts up on the way to meet him and I ripped the other one while she was doing his hair/makeup. I loved his expression in this. Many more from this series to come, but this was the first to come out of the bunch.

This is one of the few hoots where I can honestly say the images came out exactly as I hoped they would. I knew he'd play the Tarzan role well!!

Location - Dixon Azalea Park/Downtown Orlando, FL (grew up about 2min. down the street from this tree, always loved how it bowed along the ground. Very surprised the heavy susended branches survived the 3 hurricanes last year)

Haha. Well he certainly looks like at any minute he is going to take off and swing in some vines.

Nice shot!

I think that you'll receive a lot of visits from "Janes" :D
Looks great. I've never photographed a hunky guy in this kind of way - mainly headshots for actors. Always wondered how to pose guys. It's got to be very different to posing a girl. . . This has worked really well.
Yes, posing male models is very different. Luckily, Seby knows how to pose and pose pretty well. Love guys that know how to do their own thing. Sometimes, with actors, have them do some dialogue. They like to use their hands sometimes, which helps make interesting shots. I tend to stick with headshots if they dunno what to do and I have no poses that suit their look (or if I'm just plain out uninspired, haha). Check out fashion magazines and muscle magazines for a couple ideas. Course with the later, you need to have a ripped male model, haha. Oh well...

Yes, I sort of know the deal. . . I guess it might be easier for you. I can imagine a guy posing for a girl more than a guy posing for another guy. . . It's just not something I've had much opportunity to do.
