Haven't done anything like this before. Think we did this 3-4 times.

I love this one! Exactly as you said - frozen in time, with the water hanging in the air.
I always love shots of some kind of action that normally passes in the blink of an eye... Makes you look at things in a new way.

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."

I've seen this type of shot a lot, but yours is particularly nice for the way the color of her suit harmonizes with the water and, more so, the framing of the image, with the arc of the water cut off on each side. Very cool! Only one suggestion: it'd likely be stronger if her arms were outstretched in a sense of wild abandon instead of clutching herself.

Suburbia: where they rip out trees and then name streets after them.

this is amazing... where the water blends into the hair... great line of action and movement... LOVE IT!

I totally agree. Same concept with macro shots in a way--you never look at things that closely and realize their beauty/appeal.

i am almost at all loss for words for this shot.
the fact that you captured the water without geting that blurry effect is just amazing to me.
the overall concept is great, plus it has a feel like this is something out of a romance movie at a beach.

Wonderful!
Great focus and tones, and great definition too. Very clearly!
